CONSULTATION CHECKLIST
What to bring to your consultation.
A few minutes of preparation makes the first conversation far more useful. Bring what applies to your matter — the practice will guide you on anything else that's needed.
Income Tax Matters
- TIN certificate
- Previous year's tax return and assessment order, if available
- Salary certificate or income statements
- Bank statements relevant to the matter
- Any notice or letter received from NBR
VAT & Turnover Tax Matters
- BIN (Business Identification Number) certificate
- Trade licence
- Recent Mushak-6.3 purchase records, if applicable
- Recent Mushak-6.1 tax invoices, if applicable
- Copies of previously filed Mushak-6.6 VAT returns
Corporate Tax Matters
- Trade licence and incorporation documents (RJSC)
- Audited or management financial statements
- Previous corporate tax returns and assessment orders
- Board resolutions relevant to the matter, if any
NBR Notice or Tax Dispute
- The original notice or correspondence, in full
- Any prior replies already sent to NBR
- Supporting documents referenced in the notice
- A short written summary of what has happened so far
- Note of any deadline mentioned in the notice
Not sure which of these applies to you, or don't have everything on the list? That's alright — bring what you have. Most first consultations start by reviewing whatever documents and information are already available, and the practice will advise on anything further that's needed.
